Our History

In 1976, two brothers opened a small wine and beer store in Sonoma County, California. The brothers shared a common love of wine and beer, as well as a passion for providing their customers with quality products and service. Today, Total Wine & More is one of the largest beverage retailers in the United States, with more than 2,000 stores across 28 states. We offer an extensive selection of wines, beers, ciders, distilled spirits and more at convenient locations across the country.
At Total Wine & More, we believe that great wine and beer should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer our memberships program – which provides access to over 250 wines and beers from around the world – as well as our Sampling Room where customers can try different wines before purchase.
